What kind of information do we collect?

The personal information we collect is a natural part of the service we provide so that we can create and improve the best possible user experience for our customers. The information we process includes, for example, your first and last name, title or role, address, e-mail address, telephone number and other information you provide on your own initiative when using our services. In addition, we may collect marketing authorisation and prohibition information, online service username and login information, and information required for payments and credit transactions. We collect information directly from you or through the online services you use

Method Putkisto, its group companies and contract studios and directors, act together as data controllers. If there are changes in the ownership of the Method Putkisto, the information will be
transferred / handed over to the new owner. We take care of our partners' data protection obligations with the necessary contractual obligations.

Payments

We use PayPal (www.paypal.com) to process card payments on our English language website. PayPal also stores your payment information for refund requests and fraud prevention. PayPal is a US-based company that meets the requirements approved by the European Commission for data processing through the EU-US Privacy Shield framework. For more information, we encourage you to familiarise yourself with PayPal's privacy policy .

 

On our Finnish-language website, we use the Finnish Paytrail (paytrail.fi) service to process card payments. Paytrail also stores your payment information for refund claims and fraud prevention. For more information, we encourage you to familiarise yourself with Paytrail's privacy policy .


For event, class and some appointment booking services, we use WIX payment services . 

Orders

We use the Online Warehouse service to deliver orders. When you order something from us, your contact information and name as well as information about the order will be forwarded to the Online Warehouse. The online warehouse stores and processes your information for order tracking and order customer service.

Do we share your information?

In situations other than those described above, we will only share your information as required by law or if we believe in good faith that it is required to comply with legal obligations and to defend ourselves against legal claims, health and property or if a legitimate interest so requires.
